Phillip Mandel is the Director of Brand Strategy at the School of Civic Leadership, where he oversees marketing, communications, and narrative messaging. Prior to joining the university, Phillip led marketing initiatives across healthcare, legal, nonprofit, and tech sectors, as well as founded an ad agency.
He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University and an MA in Literature from NYU, as well as a BA in English from Binghamton University. Originally from New York, he now lives in Austin with his wife and children and is thrilled to contribute to the mission and growth of SCL.
