Society of Fellows

The Society of Fellows

The Society of Fellows at the University of Texas offers an intellectual home for undergraduates with interests in politics, history, and law. Fellows will enjoy privileged access to a wide range of events and activities hosted by the Civitas Institute, including small-group discussions with visiting speakers, coffee hours with scholars, and invitations to closed-door seminars with public leaders and academics.

In addition to these ongoing opportunities, Society Fellows may apply to participate in a select set of unique extracurricular experiences—such as weekend seminars at Camp Lucy or Barton Creek, and short-term study abroad programs led by faculty or senior fellows. Fellows will gain access to a dynamic intellectual community where curious minds can explore the fundamental questions of governance, liberty, and civic life while building lasting connections and friendships. The Society of Fellows welcomes applications from all UT undergraduates who are eager to deepen their understanding of political and moral life through shared and open inquiry.

We plan to start reviewing applications in late July. Check back soon for more information about the application process.
