Yonatan Green
Director of the Ackerman Program I Assistant Professor of Instruction
Yonatan Green serves as inaugural director of the Ackerman Program on Jewish and Western Civilization. An Israeli American attorney, he was most recently a fellow with the Georgetown University Center for the Constitution in Washington, D.C. His work focuses on law, constitutionalism, and the Israeli legal system. Born and raised in Israel to parents from the United States and the United Kingdom, he has worked in private practice, at Mobileye, and as cofounder and executive director of the Jerusalem-based Israel Law & Liberty Forum.
Green is admitted to practice law in Israel and in the state of New York. His work in English and Hebrew has appeared in academic, popular, and media venues and has been cited by the Israeli Supreme Court.
