Harvey Lederman

Harvey Lederman is a philosopher whose work spans both contemporary and historical philosophy. He has written extensively on the philosophical foundations of decision and game theory and, more recently, on topics in social choice theory. 

Originally trained in classics, Lederman began his scholarly work with a study of Aristotle’s theory of time. More recently, he has turned his historical attention to the relationship between knowledge and virtue in Confucian thought in the first third of the sixteenth century.
