Samuel Thompson

Samuel Thompson is a PhD student in the Department of Government at UT Austin. His research examines the intersection of morality and politics in Cicero’s thought, with particular attention to the moral standards required of statesmen and citizens in a flourishing republic.
Before attending UT Austin, Thompson served as a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army.
