Samuel Thompson

Samuel Thompson is a Ph.D. student in the Government Department at UT-Austin. He researches the intersection between morality and politics in the thought of Cicero, focusing especially on the moral standards required of statesmen and citizens in an effective, flourishing republic. He received his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Clemson University. He also served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army before attending UT-Austin.
