The School of Civic Leadership at The University of Texas at Austin is pleased to welcome many new faculty members who will join the school during the 2026–27 academic year, further strengthening our commitment to exceptional teaching and scholarship.

Representing a wide range of disciplines—including political philosophy, history, economics, law, strategy and statecraft, Jewish studies, and constitutional studies—our new faculty bring expertise from leading universities and institutions across the United States and around the world. Together, they will expand opportunities for students to engage deeply with the ideas, institutions, and traditions that have shaped free societies.

The incoming faculty include accomplished scholars, award-winning teachers, bestselling authors, former academic leaders, and experts whose research spans topics from ancient philosophy and the American founding to national security, constitutional law, and economic policy.
