Our Mission

Education for Freedom

The School of Civic Leadership at UT Austin is our generation’s answer to a task faced by every free society — how to instill the ideas and virtues that make us flourish into the leaders of tomorrow.

Make Your Gift

What is justice? What is liberty? What is true? UT’s newest academic home draws on these and other ancient questions to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the present and the future. Aspiring leaders and their professors embrace and explore the rich inheritance of Western civilization, as well as the greatest achievements and difficulties of the American tradition, all with the aim of preserving the blessings of liberty for ourselves and for others.

Gifts to the School of Civic Leadership support scholarships, faculty research, student programming, and events such as Freedom & Virtue Seminars.

Can I designate my gift to a specific program?
