Littlefield Home

UT Austin’s School of Civic Leadership and the Jack Miller Center will host a professional development opportunity for middle and high school teachers led by Dr. John Kitch. Dwight Eisenhower understood the Cold War to be a conflict of ideas waged in the context of profound technological change. Together, teachers will explore how two of his speeches provide a window into how he viewed the defining issue of his presidency. Participants will receive a $200 stipend and a certificate for completing three hours of professional development. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited. Register here.
